It includes a discharge switch for pack conditioning and storage, along with an easy-to-read current meter that indicates how much current is being delivered or removed from the battery.

Why Peak Charge?

To get the fullest, deepest charge possible—that's why. With many fast chargers, charging stops when the timer runs out. The pack may be charged, undercharged or even overcharged, but you never know for sure the exact state of the battery. By contrast, a peak detection charger determines charge condition by constantly monitoring the pack's voltage. Once peak voltage is reached, peak capacity is too, and the charger shuts off. In short, peak charging means more capacity per pack with less work.
